Blower Resistor Block Specifications Table
I got the chance to test a blower motor resistor block on a 2.5L Ford Ranger and, you'll find my test results in the following table.
I want to let you know that you're probably not gonna' obtain the exact same resistance readings when testing your own ford Ranger. This is normal since what you're looking for is simply a continuity or no continuity test result.
If there is continuity, then you'll see a resistance value very similar to the one I got. If there isn't any continuity, then you'll see the letters OL on your digital multimeter's display.
Terminal | Terminal | Resistance |
---|---|---|
1 | 2 | 2.1 Ohms |
1 | 3 | 0.7 Ohms |
1 | 4 | 1.0 Ohms |
3 | 4 | 0.9 Ohms |
2 | 3 | 2.6 Ohms |
2 | 4 | 3.1 Ohms |
