This mass air flow (MAF) sensor belongs to an 2002 Ford Ranger. The hot wire has a fly stuck to it, and the Air Temperature Resistor is fuzzed up with dirt.
This dirty MAF was causing the Ford Ranger to have a lack of power when accelerating it under load. The MAF sensor's performance was restored after cleaning.
